FORUMS PRECEDENTS
Chaque année depuis 2015 un Forum International des politiques alimentaires est organisé par la Mairie de Milan. Suite à ça, des Forums régionaux aussi ont été organisés dans des régions à caractère spécifique (régions qui, bien sûr, doivent faire face à des difficultés similaires et ont donc besoin de mettre en place des stratégies adaptés au contexte) ; le premier, organisé par ACRA en 2016 à Dakar, a été d’ailleurs le premier Forum Régional pour les Pays de l’Afrique francophone.
Le Forum de Dakar a vu la participation de sept villes africaines (Dakar, Niamey, Brazzaville, N’Djamena, Nouakchott, Douala et Abidjan), et a mis l’accent sur l’importance de connaitre et partager les bonnes pratiques du domaine alimentaire, développés et mise en place dans le Pays africaines qui abordent les mêmes difficultés.
Après ce premier Forum Régional, deux autres rencontrent entre les villes africaines ont été organisés: en 2018 à Brazzaville et en 2019 à Niamey. De plus, un quatrième Forum sera organisé cette années à Ouagadougou, du 12 au 14 mai.
PREVIOUS EDITION
Every year since 2015 an International Food Policy Forum has been organized by the City of Milan. As a result, regional Forums have also been organized in regions of a specific nature (regions which, of course, have to face similar difficulties and therefore need to put in place strategies adapted to the context); the first, organized by ACRA in 2016 in Dakar, was also the first Regional Forum for French-speaking African countries.
The Dakar Forum saw the participation of seven African cities (Dakar, Niamey, Brazzaville, N'Djamena, Nouakchott, Douala and Abidjan), and emphasized the importance of knowing and sharing good practices in the food sector. , developed and implemented in African countries that address the same difficulties.
After this first Regional Forum, two other meetings between African cities were organized: in 2018 in Brazzaville and in 2019 in Niamey. In addition, a fourth Forum will be organized this year in Ouagadougou, from May 12 to 14.
